Creating the detergent of tomorrow

Dwinling non-renewable resources, environmentally-savvy consumers, and climate-focused government bodies are changing the face of the detergent industry. At Novozymes we are envisioning the detergent of tomorrow and believe that this detergent will be based on renewable ingredients that do not experience high price fluctuations, more sustainable as it will contain less traditional chemistry and more bioinnovation, more compact so as to require less packaging material and will result in reduced transportation costs, high performing at low temperatures.
Novozymes’ research, both in-house and in collaboration with partners, shows that it is possible to reformulate detergents with enzymes to create the detergent of tomorrow, today.
In this presentation, the potential of reformulating with enzymes by reducing the volume of surfactants and builders will focus on formulation costs, sustainability, detergent dosage, and performance at low temperatures.

CREARE IL DETERGENTE DI DOMANI
La diminuzione di risorse non rinnovabili, la consapevolezza dei consumatori dei problemi ambientali, le organizzazioni governative addette agli studi climatici stanno cambiando la faccia dell’industria detersivistica.
Novozymes sta programmando il detergente del futuro che sarà basato su materie prime rinnovabili non soggette alla fluttuazione dei prezzi, più sostenibile contenendo meno prodotti chimici tradizionali e più bioinnovazioni, più compatto  in modo da ridurre gli imballaggi e diminuendo di conseguenza i costi di trasporto, altamente efficace alle basse temperature di lavaggio.
Il settore ricerca di Novozymes, anche in collaborazione con partner esterni dimostra che è possibile riformulare detergenti con  enzimi in modo da creare oggi il detergente di domani.
Nel presente lavoro vengono discusse le potenzialità di riformulare con enzimi riducendo la quantità di tensioattivi e di builders. Vengono affrontati argomenti come i costi, la sostenibilità, il dosaggio del detergente, le performance a basse temperature.
